Kai Cenat is bringing his own brand to one of fashion’s biggest weeks.
Cenat is a top Twitch streamer, a member of AMP (Any Means Possible) streaming collective, and the creator behind Streamer University, which invites creators on an all-paid trip to a college campus to stream, network horizontally, and leave with gems to set them on track for success.
According to Forbes, Cenat had made $8.5 million in earnings as of June 16, 2025, ranking him No. 28 among creators on its 2025 list. While considered at the top of his game, Cenat shocked the world when he announced in early 2026 that he was quitting.
“I feel like sometimes people need to self-reflect and take a step back from the broad perspective of what their life has been,” he shared in a video. “I believe that there is more to this world that is much greater than myself. The energy and passion to want to do more and create is within me. That is why I quit.”
In conversation with The New York Times, Cenat says he loves streaming and would never truly stop, as shown by the several streams he has done in the past few months.
“I Iove streaming because it’s not only helped me, it’s helped my family. It’s helped me also become the most creative person I can be,” Cenat told the outlet.
Nonetheless, he took a long hiatus to work on his fashion brand, Vivet. He sketched many of his ideas and documented what he learned in a journal.

New York Fashion Week Debut
He admits it’s been “a lot of trial and error” with hiring and spending, among other things. Nonetheless, the fruits of his labor will soon take center stage, as Vivet will debut at New York Fashion Week on Sept. 12 and be broadcast across his channels, per The New York Times.
“I want to debut it on my world and in my world of streaming, Twitch, YouTube, and everything,” he told The New York Times.

What’s more, Cenat makes it clear the venture has remained bootstrapped.
“Along the way, I definetly had people like … ‘We heard your story. We want to get on this before it go. And I was like, nah… I can do this by myself. Yeah. So, I own it 100%. I’m lowkey just am very happy on like how everything turned out,” Cenat expressed.
